Litti Chokha is a famous in Bihar. It's one of the specialty or we can say a special food. The healthy thing about it is that it's not fried & its cooked in very less oil.

Ingredients
Litti
- Sattu -1/2 cup
- Wheat flour- 2 cup
- Fine diced Onion- 1/2 cup
- Green chili- 2 finely chopped
- Salt- 1 Tsp
- Achar oil/masala or Mustard Oil- 2 Tbsp
- Lemon- 2 Tbsp(if looking for extra sour)
Chokha
- Eggplant- 1 big
- Boil Potato- 1 medium size
- Diced onions- 1 cup
- Green Chili- 3 finely chopped
- Mustard Oil- 2 Tbsp
- Salt- 1 1/2 Tsp
- Corriander/Cilantro- 2 Tbsp
- Tomato- 2
Directions
Step 1
Preheat Bati oven on stove/or any other oven.
Step 2
For Litti-
In a medium size bowl mix all together sattu, oil, achar masala, salt, onion, green chilli, lemon(if required).
Prepare the wheat flour dough (little hard). Take small portion of it & fill it with mixture created. Make round shape and start placing it in oven once its ready. Cook it in medium flame for 30 -45 min or till starts getting golden from all sides.
Step 3
For Chokha-
Roast eggplant, tomato on stove for about 20 min or till it get starts getting little black from every side. Keep rotating in between. Once it is ready peel of the skin of eggplant & tomato and mash it.
In a medium size bowl mix all together roasted mashed eggplant, tomato, boil potato, onion, green chilli, salt, corriander & mustard oil.
Step 4
Serve hot litti with chokha.
