No Oven- Egg-less Orange cake




Cake is required at every occasion whether its small or big. But how about if we can make it without oven and even egg-less yet delicious.

Ingredients

  • Butter/Ghee/Oil- 1/4 cup
  • Sugar- 3/4 cup
  • Orange Juice- 1 cup
  • Sweet Condensed Milk- 1/4 cup
  • Milk- 1/4 cup
  • Flour- 1 cup
  • Baking Powder- 1 Tsp
  • Baking Soda- 1/2 Tsp
  • Corn flour- 1 Tsp
Note- You can also use Milkmade in place of sweet condensed milk.

Directions

Step 1

In a medium size mix together butter/ghee/oil, sugar, 1/4 cup orange juice & then add flour, baking powder, baking soda, sweet condensed milk & milk. 

Step 2

Take 6' pan, place the parchment paper and grease it with butter/ghee/oil & then pour the mixture in it. 
For corn syrup- In a medium pan pour 1/2 cup orange juice, heat it then add corn flour in it. Keep stirring in between till it get thickens. Then keep it aside to let it cool.

Step 3

Put kadhai or big vessel on stove. Spread salt at the base or place the stand in it. Heat it & then place the cake mold in it. Cook it for 40-50 min in low flame. 
For oven place the cake mold in a preheated for 40-50 min at 360 degrees.

Step 4

Once the cake is done cut it into half and spread the orange juice and then whipping cream. Same to be followed for top layer too. Then decorate the cake as per your style with the corn syrup.
