Achari Gobhi

 


Cauliflower/Gobhi is made in different forms. Achari Gobhi is a delicious combination of wonderful spices which gives tangy flavor.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower florets- 1 medium size
  • Finely chopped Onions- 1 medium size
  • Methi Dana- 1/4 Tsp

  • Rai- 1/2 Tsp

  • Kalonji- 1/2 Tsp

  • Jeera- 1/2 Tsp

  • Sauf- 1/2 Tsp

  • Coriandar Powder- 1 Tsp

  • Jeera Powder- 1 Tsp

  • Haldi Powder- 1/2 Tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder- 1/2 Tsp

  • Green Chilli roughly chopped- 2-3

  • Mustard Oil- 2-4 Tbsp

  • Curd- 1/2 cup

  • Hing- 1/4 Tsp

  • Ginger Garlic Paste- 1-2 Tsp

  • Salt- As per taste

  • Fresh Coriander- For Garnishing

Directions

Step 1

Heat Mustard oil in a pan then add rai, jeera, sauf, kalonji, methi dana & hing. Fry it for few seconds. Then add coriandar & jeera powder fey it for few seconds. Add onions and fry till it get golden brown.

Step 2

Add green chili, haldi & red chili powder mix it together and fry for a minute. 

Step 3

Add cauliflower florets, salt & sprinkle some water so the cauliflower don't stick. Cover & cook till its semi cooked and keep stirring in between. Once its semi cooked add ginger garlic paste & curd. Mix it together and cover & cook for 10 min on medium flame. Do not overcook.

Step 4

Garnish with fresh coriander.
